Taylor made a statement with their final road game of the season against Madonna, winning 91-28. The near 100-point performance set a school and conference record for most points in a game.
Three sports will start up during J-term. Baseball, track and field, and competitive cheer will each get their shot at exciting the Taylor community in a month.
They are not in the spotlight enough and the skill it takes to master their craft is exceptional. That is a solid definition for the Equestrian Club at Taylor University.
Heading into the 2024 season, the Taylor women’s basketball team looks to bounce back from a 12-17 (7-11) season while Taylor’s men’s basketball team plans to make a not-so-silent start.
After back-to-back wins and the biggest win in Taylor women’s soccer history, the Trojans look to continue the momentum. With a record of 4-2-2, the Trojans have kept themselves above .500.
Taylor University sports are back underway with eight teams vying for Crossroads League titles and national recognition.
Anton Webb (1) is having a career year in his senior season, averaging a 17.3 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.5 stocks per game.
Whitney Warfel is averaging 11.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in her freshman season.
With 1448 all-purpose yards through eight games, Hockett has taken a leap and become a major strength of Taylor's offense.
Transfer guard Kobe Funderburk leads the Trojans with 13 points per game and is hitting 50% of his three-point attempts.
