Christmas liturgies give people the opportunity to remember

Escaping reality through fantasy is only a distraction from the adventure God has planned for us. Author, singer and songwriter Andrew Peterson wrote of his own gravitation towards escapism in his book “Adorning the Dark.”
Wolf PAX, the new Taylor run club, has been meeting since September on every other Saturday. PAX and the Taylor Student Organization (TSO) host the event. Senior Wade Frances, student body president, and junior Nathan Miller, PAX president, had the idea to start a run club at Taylor.
Credits can be the difference between thousands of dollars. They determine where students live, when they will graduate – and for transfer students, can be a significant hurdle when choosing a new school.
When a student walks through IU Health Center’s sliding glass doors, they are met with a stop sign, hand sanitizer and a pile of masks. Behind the stop sign are two women ready to help. They welcome students with their smiles and quick wit.
Four years ago, Chelsea Springer, a Taylor University freshman at the time, wrote a poem. Her words became the inspiration for Heart and Soul Poetry Club, a co-founder of the club said.
If a person grew up in the church, they had a community of faithful people. Gregory Dyson, vice president for spiritual life and intercultural leadership, and campus pastor, said people may experience the benefits of other people’s faith without being saved.
“Welcome to ‘Thanks a Lot, Eve!’ the show for women and by women, and men can listen too.” Seniors Hannah Johnson and Tayler Owens, film and media majors, have started their show “Thanks a Lot, Eve!” this way almost every week since their freshman year.
If you were an animal, which one would you be? This was the question the 3D design students were faced with for their final project. They were given the assignment to sculpt a self-portrait, but with a twist: it had to be an animal.
Working nine to five, Taylor University students put together the 40th Airband on April 20, with two showings at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively. Family and friends gathered as the lights went down and fog rolled in.
