Taylor University is required to provide equal access to education for students with disabilities through accommodations according to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Disability is a broad term that covers mobile-impairment and neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ADHD and dyslexia), among other things.
Walking on Taylor soil for the first time this year, many students noticed drastic visual and structural changes to the Hodson Dining Commons and Zondervan Library.

Tucked away on the far north side of campus sits the smallest, oldest, quirkiest and, perhaps, most mysterious of residence halls.

Just a ten minute drive from Taylor University is a small, unassuming town named Hartford City. While most Taylor students only know it to be home to a popular coffee shop, a small group of college kids drive there every Sunday night to worship, listen to a sermon and encourage one another.

The No. 13 Trojans took down the No. 17 Marian Knights 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-22, 25-23) on September 30 in a hard-fought game where each point was a back-and-forth battle. This game extended Taylor’s current win streak to four and continued their undefeated run at home as the Trojans are now 10–0 when playing in Odle Arena (11-0 after defeating Spring Arbor on October 5).
The women’s cross country team, fresh off two consecutive event wins, added to their dominant season by capturing the title Oct. 1 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic. Program history was rewritten, with the previous team time record being surpassed by 23 seconds and freshman Noel VanderWall setting an individual record time of 17:34.6.
