Taylor University’s Board of Trustees welcomed two new members who will begin in May.
Lisa Ford and Jamie Haenggi each bring unique skills to the table that the board values.
“Every so often, we add a new member or two to the board,” President Michael Lindsay said. “This year, we are excited to welcome two new board members, both of whom have a strong connection to the university.”
Ford is a 1992 alumna who is passionate about teaching domestically along with internationally. She is also a member of the Life to the Full Campaign Council and has a child attending Taylor.
Haenggi has served at Taylor for years as she is involved with the Board of Visitors as well as the Life to the Full Campaign Council. Last year, Haenggi received an honorary doctorate from Taylor at the commencement.
The Board of Trustees consists of 27 members. These members meet several times a year to strategize and envision new directions for Taylor’s future.
The President’s Cabinet works hand-in-hand with the trustees to brainstorm ways to help Taylor thrive.
“Having known both Lisa and Jamie personally,” Lindsay said, “I’m thrilled to work more closely with them as they step into their roles as trustees. They bring valuable experience, leadership, and a deep love for Taylor which we are very excited for.”
