Life after Taylor isn't what I thought it would be like, but I think most people would agree that post-Taylor life looks a little different than they imagined it would. I'm currently a freelance designer-not working at an agency, not living in the city I thought I would be living in and not even doing the kind of design work that I thought I would be doing. I would say that Taylor prepared me to pursue community (creative or otherwise) that encourages and challenges me to improve, to be held accountable and to continually learn from other people's wisdom and experiences. My advice to graduating seniors is to see the value of wherever you currently are, where you'll be in a year, or where you'll be five years from now. Things almost never go according to plan, but you learn a lot about yourself that way.
