14 members of the Taylor track team will compete at the NAIA Nationals next weekend. TU will be represented by seven men and seven women in several different events.
On the women's side, junior Elaine Schmeltz and freshman Anna Meyer will compete in the Steeplechase while sophomore Jane Hawks, sophomore Grace Carver, sophomore Sarina Oleson and freshman Kerigan Riley will team up for the women's 4x800 relay. Senior Erin Price will also compete in a women's long distance event.
For the men, freshman Tanner Dye, sophomore Schalk Van Niekerk, junior Jared Reed and sophomore David Rodman will combine for the men's 4x800 relay event. Senior Luke Currens looks to compete in the 110 meter hurdles while junior Ethan Evans and freshman Matt Hall will run long distance events for the Trojans.
