The TU baseball team split a pair of games with Bethel on Tuesday to assure the Trojans of the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Crossroads League Tournament.
The Trojans (32-20, 24-10) beat the Pilots 12-3 in the first game Tuesday before falling to the Pilots in a shootout, 13-11.
Taylor opens tournament play in a faceoff with Marian on Saturday at 3 p.m. The tournament will continue next week as games will be played Monday and Tuesday before determining the final series on Wednesday.
