Taylor is full of traditions, and one of these is Sing Noel, the vibrant and cultural musical Christmas celebration. Musical groups will perform a Christmas concert for Taylor students and faculty this Saturday, December 7 in Rediger Auditorium.
This year, the show's lineup will feature music from all over the world and in 15 languages. Groups from all around campus will perform this year. They include Adoration Chorus, a women's chorus group open to all Taylor women by audition; the Taylor Ringers, a handbell group featuring 13 students; and the TU Brass Ensemble. Another group called Salaam, which performs music from the Middle East, is also set to perform. They sang at Sing Noel last year, and many students are excited for their return.Aside from the musical performances, Sing Noel will also use spoken language to tell the story of the gospel and the reason we celebrate this time of year.
After the performance, everyone is invited to a reception held in the Dining Commons for fellowship and dessert. Both Sing Noel and the reception are free.
Sing Noel will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the reception will begin shortly after the concert concludes.
