The TU women's soccer team grabbed another conference win on Saturday as the Trojans shutout the Goshen Maple Leafs on the road, 1-0.
In a defensive battle where Goshen fired just six shots and Taylor attempted only seven, it was a free-kick by senior Christi Dithrich that gave the Trojans the advantage on Saturday.
Taylor junior Amanda Roden led Taylor in shots with five while junior goalkeeper Kristiana Griffith tallied five saves to hang her hat on a shutout.
Taylor now moves to 9-6 overall and 2-5 in conference. The Trojans will host conference foe Bethel on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. before they hold their last game of the season on Saturday, Oct 19 at 4 p.m. against Mount Vernon Nazarene.
