The Taylor men's soccer team came to a 2-2 draw in last Friday's contest with Augustana College.
The Trojans were looking at their second straight loss to start the season as they trailed 2-0 going into the final 10 minutes of the game. The Trojans' never say die attitude and a play style of constant pressure led to a goal from junior Tim Miller in the 83rd minute with an assist from junior Tim Daniels.With the deficit cut in half, the Trojans felt an opportunity to salvage the game as Daniels got another assist just two minutes later finding senior David Maldonado to shock Augustana.
Neither team got great chances in the overtime periods and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
