The women's basketball team dropped their 5th straight game on Saturday losing to Huntington 65-70. The Trojans squandered a nine-point halftime lead to drop to 13-7 overall and 2-6 in Crossroads League play.
The Trojans held the Foresters to just five points in the final seven minutes of the first half to take a 34-25 lead at the break but it wouldn't hold up.
A back and forth second half resulted in a 59-59 tie with just over three minutes to play. Trojan turnovers came into play as they were outscored 11-6 to end the game.
Senior Erin Guarneri led Taylor with 16 points and 11 rebounds while junior Kelsey Bryant put up 13 points and Shayna Wood tallied 12 more.
The Trojans will hope to end their losing streak this week as they play host to Spring Arbor on Wednesday and Goshen on Saturday.
