For the children who participate in Black Dog Farm’s Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) program, horses are more than just animals. They are the confidants who bring healing to a past that is too difficult to face alone. Maggie Boyle, owner of Black Dog Farms, attributes the success of the EAP program to the special relationship between the horses and the humans that care for them.
